Introduction

We visited Licious Noodles & Bao 📍 5076 W Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL, a restaurant focused on craftsmanship: handmade noodles and pork‑filled bao prepared to order. From the moment you walk in, the approach is clear — technique, flavor, and consistency.

The Experience

The experience feels focused from the start. Open kitchen, visible processes, and a tight, well‑executed menu. This is not about excess — it’s about doing each dish right.

Two clear standouts from our visit:

  • Yibin Noodles, with excellent texture, balanced heat, and flavors that keep you going back for another bite.

  • Sichuan Peppercorn Chicken, bold, aromatic, and delivering that signature Sichuan numbing sensation done properly.

Other dishes we tried that show the range of the menu:

  • Pan‑fried pork‑filled bao buns, soft on the inside and golden on the outside

  • Pork soup dumplings, delicate, juicy, and full of flavor

  • Braised pork rice bowl, comforting and well executed

  • Spicy chicken wings, with solid heat and texture

To finish, dessert was the black sticky rice with mango and coconut milk — creamy, balanced, and not overly sweet.

It’s the kind of place you return to because you know exactly what to expect, and that consistency is a strength.

Why Licious Noodles & Bao Works

  • Handmade noodles

  • Pan‑fried pork‑filled bao, cooked with care

  • A focused, well‑executed menu

  • Accessible location in Orlando

If you appreciate well‑made noodles and properly executed bao, this is a spot worth adding to your list.

More and more Latino diners in Orlando are seeking truly authentic Asian food — places that don’t adjust flavors to fit a local palate, but instead present the food as it’s meant to be. Licious Noodles & Bao fits squarely into that category, cooking with identity and respect for its roots.
